Sue Zizza - Executive Producer / Director

Sue is an audio producer, director, writer, and sound designer, and the owner of SueMedia Productions, a full service audio production company.
For over 20 years Sue has produced award winning audio drama for public radio and audiobooks.
She is an Audie award winning producer of audiobooks, audio drama, radio plays and much more.
Her work has also been honored by The Gabriel’s, The International Festival of New York, The National Federation of Community Broadcasters, and the Communicator Awards.
Sue’s sound clients have also included: USA Networks - SciFi Channel, The New Victory Theater – Broadway, USA Productions, Movies for the Ears, and The Museum of TV and Radio – NYC. Additionally from 1996 - 2007 she served as the Executive Director of the National Audio Theatre Festivals (NATF) – an audio arts training organization. In 2013 she helped NATF create the HEAR Now Festival which annually celebrates all forms of audio fiction.
When she’s not producing and directing, Sue specializes in manual SFX (Foley) effects for audio productions, film, television and the stage. Sue also teaches audio arts and sound production at New York University’s Kanbar Institute for Film and Television at the Tisch School of the Arts.
Sue has been a regular presenter at national audio conferences like the Audio Engineering Society (AES) where she demonstrates sound effects recording and performance techniques.

David Shinn - Master Engineer/ Studio Manager

David is a mixing engineer for TC and film and a sound designer/engineer and foley (SFX) artist for stage and studio productions. He also specializes in Studio Design and Audio Recording, Multi-track Mixing, and Editing.
His work has been honored by the Audies, The International Festival of New York, The National Federation of Community Broadcasters, and the Communicator Awards.
From 1998 until 2006 he co-produced the nationally syndicated Radio Works series that was heard on more than 70 stations coast-to-coast.
Since 2000 he has been the Technical Director for the National Audio Theatre Festivals which currently hosts the annual HEAR Now Festival.

Matt Serianni - Editor / Production Assistant
Matt is an audio engineer/musician based in Brooklyn, hailing from Saratoga, NY. He received a STEM-certified BM in Music Technology from New York University in 2018, and enjoys continually working and learning in the fields of audio and music. In addition to working with Radio Waves Studios - engineering various pieces of voice-based media including podcasts, audiobooks, audio dramas, and more - he has accolades and experience in live sound for musical, theatrical, and corporate settings. He also produces, mixes, and masters records for independent artists in and around NYC, including himself! He has an EP released under the name “Matthew Gregory”, and enjoys playing shows as a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter under this moniker and with other projects. Throughout his engineering and songwriting, Matt is committed to creating compelling storytelling through music and sound, and is a proud and grateful member of the Radio Waves Studios team.
